Republic Steel

Given the assignment to revamp the branding of a B2B company in need of a comprehensive overhaul, I opted to explore steel companies in Ohio, drawing on personal connections with family members employed in steel plants. After careful consideration, I chose “Republic Steel,” a company based in Canton, Ohio, despite having no prior familiarity with it.

To commence the rebranding process, I delved into
the company’s history to grasp its essence and unique
selling points. I also researched similar companies in
the industry to discern branding trends and identify opportunities for differentiation. Opting for a minimalist approach, I designed a monochromatic logo featuring bold lettering within a rectangular box, conveying a sense of solidity and professionalism befitting the steel industry. Leveraging the company’s long-standing legacy, I highlighted its reliability and stability as key selling points in the branding strategy.

The rebranding effort culminates in a refined and impactful transformation that resonates with the market. The new identity exudes respectability and coherence, enhancing the company’s brand presence and perception. Additionally, the creation of business cards and company apparel, such as hats and hoodies adorned with the logo, reinforces the brand identity while fostering a sense of unity among employees, aligning perfectly with the company’s image and location.
