For this project I was tasked with creating my own B2C brand. I had to create several products for this brand as well as an identity and selling point. I was given free reign over what kind of company I could make, so I went with a furniture company targeting young adults and college students. It would be brand that would create furniture for a first apartment or college dorm. The selling points of this brand that its stylish and affordable as well as easy to move. There is also an environmental appeal to further its appeal to young adults

To start I researched similar companies that target the same audience my brand is going for. I found that these brands weren’t making themselves distinct in the ways the created or branded their furniture, so I decided to create a fun, pop design for my brand to make it stick out. After going through several different desings, I landed on the idea of a chair with legs that ran to give the brand a spunky, fun feel. The orange and yellow as its colors also helps to make the brand feel fresh and make it stick out from competition. I also decided on the name “Pop Palatian” a name that reflects the portable nature as well as the stylish aspect of the furniture.

The outcome is a dynamic and memorable brand that resonates strongly with its target audience. Pop Palatian’s distinctive identity sets it apart from competitors, injecting an element of excitement into the furniture shopping experience. With its playful design and appealing attributes, the brand effectively captures the attention and loyalty of young adults and college students, establishing itself as a go-to choice for stylish and affordable furniture solutions.
